BEYOND was born from a simple conviction: the most interesting challenges (in policy, in organizations, in life) rarely have a one-dimensional answer.
I’m Lucía Ávila, the founder of BEYOND. My career has lived at the intersection of design, data, policy, law, and stakeholder engagement. I’ve built slide decks that secured funding, written reports that changed conversations, consulted on strategy and governance, and produced events that brought the right people into the same room. Legal training taught me to think in systems, to parse complexity, and to build an argument: skills that turn out to be just as useful in a design brief as in a policy memo.
BEYOND is the formalization of that work, a consultancy structured to offer the full range of what complex problems actually require.
